Felt I should write this review having read that others have had a similar experience to my own. I have bought my daughter 2 lunchbags in the last year- one online in the sale last Xmas and another to replace this after it started to go mouldy...sadly, the replacement has gone the same way- yuk! Such a shame as I love the design and they are a really pratical size, etc.- very dissapointed!

I purchased one of these lunchbags in the summer sale for my daughter to start the new term with. After having used it for one term only (not constant use as she sometimes has school meals) it now has quite a large patch of mould around the strap on left hand side, and spreading. I am so disappointed as although reduced in price it still wasn't reasonable enough for it to only last three months.

My daughter has been using this lunchbag since September. The fabric has stained and it now appears to be going mouldy. This is a product that is sold as a child's lunchbag and it clearly is not up to the job. I would not expect this to happen to a cheap lunchbag never mind one of this price. What a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I have bought loads of products from c/k and this is the only thing I have ever been really unhappy with. Amelia, my daughter had this lunch bag bought for her in August as it is now so stained I am too embarrassed with the look of to allow her to take it to school. Very disappointing for 18 quid!! I can't even return the item as it was a gift from her nanny.

I bought my daughter the cath kidston lunch bag for the new school term. She has only used it a few times & her drink has leaked & it has seeped through and left marks all over the front of it & the back!! I wouldn't ushually mind so much, but £18 for a lunch bag is a lot & I wouldn't expect this to happen. I've just bought her the retro flower school bag, as we really like the cath kidston range. I was just dissapointed as now we can't really use it!!! I would like to buy her a new one to go with bag, but how can I be sure this won't happen again???

I bought a similar flower kids lunchbag for my daughter for the new school term. Somehow pinkish stains appears on the fabric of the lunchbag. It has only been used three times and I would have thought this would have lasted me throughout the whole year, and the new school term haven't even started!

I bought this lovely looking lunch bag for my daughter and within the first week of using it has an ugly stain on the outside accross the flowers. This was caused by her leaving a half eaten pear in the bag after lunch, the juice from it seeped through the waterproof inner liniing and is now on the outside of the bag - very ugly! and not impressed with the quality of this item as not cheap for a lunch bag and the inside should be waterproof for childrens drinks and other things can leak inside easily and will stain!! I love Cath Kidston products but I would def not recommend their lunch bags as they're not good quality and ruin easily!!
